Hello and I’m Back
Dear Readers,
From the start of my creative adventures I have appreciated that a blog without readers is like the tree that falls in the forest; if no one is there, does it make a sound? Without support from you I’m not sure I would have kept this going this many years. The first post was in January of 2015 in which I debuted my comic talents. My audience has been small but loyal, and it swells my heart to know that people have continued to follow me from those early days. Thank you.
My summer was spent with my face in my laptop doing homework for the fiction writing course I’m taking. The course was supposed to end October 31, but I have taken the option to continue. I’m also working on my own book. Pre-scheduling the comics to post automatically over the summer freed my time for study. New readers were introduced to the series while original fans of Contentment is for Cows were reacquainted. Next week’s post will bring chapter four, “I Bella, Me Muttley”, to a close. I hope you have enjoyed them.
I’m still doing plenty of homework, but I will resume my usual short and sweet reflections on life’s complications. I’ll keep you updated on my progress with my book and maybe post some excerpts as I get closer to the finish line. (The finish line is a long way off.)
Moving forward, I’m choosing to include the comics with my posts for those of you who have been getting a kick out of reading them. The number of panels per week will be reduced. Consider it a Sunday funnies bonus. If you are not a comics fan… you can ignore the panels. Win-win.
Keep your joy.
Posted every Sunday.
Contentment is for Cows: Normally a blog, but through the summer and fall of 2026, it’s a sitcom on paper.
Yay! You’re baaaaack!!!
Hahaha! Thank you!
