Dear Readers,

In my last post I asked if you would be interested in re-reading my comic series, Contentment is for Cows. The enthusiastic “Yes!” responses came from those of you who have read it before. To those of you who have not read my comics at all, please consider that resounding “Yes” to be a word-of-mouth recommendation. No one said “No Thanks,” but all of you are much too polite for that.

Re-posting the comics will be a fun way to maintain our connection through the coming months. In reality, I won’t be taking the summer off completely. I have committed to a writing mentorship program; therefore, my sunny afternoons will be spent doing homework. My mentor has extensive experience as an editor and a well-earned reputation for not pulling any punches in his critiques. It’s going to be an adventure equal to travelling to Europe by myself. We begin July 4 through to the end of October. Wish me bon voyage.

To maximize my experience while I work through this program, I will begin posting the comics next week, timing them to reach the grand finale in October. All of these posts can be set up to go out automatically via WordPress and Facebook to allow me to focus on my assignments.

Now, I hate to bore you with instructions, but it’s important. Contentment is for Cows does have its own Facebook page. If you haven’t “Liked” that page, please do so here. I will, just to be a conscientious pest, post this information again, using Facebook’s tools. 

My personal Facebook page has always been open to the public. I’m going to change the settings to friends only. In the future, these blog posts will be shared solely on the Contentment is for Cows dedicated Facebook page. If this is clear as mud, please ask questions.
